Week 1
In this week’s live lesson, we’ll root and ground through forward folds and twists, releasing tension as we activate the parasympathetic nervous system. We’ll end with a calming pranayama and a mantra for connection.
This week’s recorded session concludes with the 'Still Lake of the Mind' meditation, supporting us in letting go of what no longer serves and embracing inner stillness.
Week 2
Scorpio season focus’s on deep emotional exploration and vulnerability, resonating with Anahata (heart chakra). This week we will explore backbends and the heart space - the centre of love, compassion, and emotional depth.
This weeks recorded content is the Buddhist Loving-Kindness Meditation (also called Metta Bhavana in Buddhism). This meditation focuses on cultivating love, compassion, and kindness for yourself and others. It’s designed to help you move through several layers of connection, expanding feelings of goodwill toward yourself, loved ones, acquaintances, and even those you find challenging.
Week 3
We’re able to embrace times of transition when we feel powerful. To help us with this, we focus on our Solar Plexus Chakra (Manipura). The Solar Plexus Chakra corresponds with the season of Scorpio. Both supporting us to observe our power dynamics, boundaries, and asserting our personal will effectively.
This week’s recording is a Yoga Nidra practice, a deeply restful form of guided meditation that invites you to relax both body and mind. Yoga Nidra aka 'yogic sleep,' helps reduce stress, improve sleep quality, and cultivate a profound sense of calm. In this session, you’ll be guided into an alpha state, where your brain wave frequency links conscious thought with the subconscious mind. You will be in a state between wakefulness and sleep, where healing and relaxation can naturally unfold.
Week 4
This week, our focus is on the Sacral Chakra, the center of creativity and passion. In this session, we’ll work on clearing negativity from the mind to reveal our true selves and explore how we channel this energy into our relationships, guided by the questions in the workbook.
Week 5
This week you’re encouraged to ask yourself what limiting beliefs we you ready to let go of in order to remind yourself of our true inherent power?
Atma Vichara (self- inquiry) Meditation
In this Buddhist mediation, we are going to explore the question, "Who am I?". This level of self awareness will allow us to lift the veils of labels and conditioning, getting to know ourselves beyond our ‘roles’. Approach this practice with curiosity and openness, allowing whatever arises to come and go without holding on or judgment.
Week 6
This session marks our final practice! May this practice remind you of your inner wisdom and may it guide you always.
